BRAILLE BIBLE DISTRIBUTION FOR THE BLIND
COORDINATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF BIBLES FOR THE BLIND OUTREACH
Portacabins in the compound of King’s college Annex, 1 Adeyemo Alakija Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
As part of Caring Community Creators passion for eyesight and Vision, in the past, we have partnered with initiatives like the INDO Eye Care Foundation and now expanding this project for visually impaired persons.
We started this by donating Braille Bibles to the visually impaired persons community.
Our aim is to accommodate as much persons in our quest to show inclusivity.
The core goal of this initiative was to make the Holy Bible accessible to Blind individuals through Braille-transcribed copies. This endeavour was inspired by the desire to promote inclusivity in religious practice and provide spiritual nourishment to visually impaired persons.
The Bible Distribution for the Blind project was initiatied to provide accessible religious materials to visually impaired individuals. This project was conducted on the 24th of September, 2024, with the primary objective of distributing Braille Bibles to blind beneficiaries across various communities.
This venue was chosen due to its accessibility and central location. The project was overseen by Mr Pradeep Pahalwani, who led the logistics and delivery.
The Braille Bibles were housed in Caring Community Creators centre in Ilupeju prior to distribution. The facility provided a secure and organised space for the storage of these materials.
A total of 10 cartons of Braille Bibles were successfully distributed to visually impaired individuals.

The event received positive feedback from beneficiaries and organisation leaders who expressed gratitude for the accessibility this project provides to the Blind community.
Caring Community Creators volunteers teamed up for the success of this outreach and several Blind beneficiaries benefited.
